Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is widely believed that she was the one who initiating the contemporary research into the study of memories of eyewitnesses and children's victimes as witness in court contexts. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive, she has received numerous grants, and has been the winner of many awards at the national level and international. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the globe regarding policy and research on child victimization in the court system. Additionally, she provides consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of numerous professional associations, including The Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychological Psychology of Traumatic Stress and Women 56). Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society as well as the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of three divisions (Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society, and Division Developmental Psychology) and one section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
